Sintons raise £23,000 for 鶹
We were thrilled to welcome some of the team from leading law firm to celebrate their incredible fundraising efforts.
Since April 2024, Sintons has proudly supported us as their Firm Charity, with all fundraising efforts during this period dedicated to raising money for our cause.
This has seen the Sintons team brave the Lake District 10 Peaks Challenge, the Great North Run and more. Take a look at some of their fundraising activities here!
Our learners from Northern Counties were very excited to meet David, Peter and Ellie from Sintons to thank them for all that they have done.
Our signing choir delivered a fantastic performance, showcasing songs they had recently performed in New York. Molly even stepped into choir leader Mandy’s role, confidently leading the group for one song.
John Preston, chief executive of the 鶹 Foundation, said:
“Sintons’ support of the Foundation over the last two years has been incredible.
“Every team member has come together to challenge themselves, and we are blown away by the final fundraising total.
“Their efforts will help us deliver a wide range of enriching activities across our services, ensuring that the children, young people and adults we support can continue to access opportunities that empower them to live life to the fullest.
“We are extremely grateful for their dedication to supporting the work of the 鶹 Foundation.”
David Pritchard, head of marketing and business development and Chair of Sintons’ CSR committee added:
“Supporting the 鶹 Foundation over the past two years has been an incredibly rewarding experience for everyone at Sintons.
“We knew from the start that this was a charity close to the hearts of many in the North East, but the way our colleagues rallied behind the cause exceeded all expectations.
“To have surpassed our initial targets and reached a total of over £23,000 is a testament to the dedication of our people.
“Whether it was the trainees tackling the Lake District summits or the team organising our most successful golf day to date, the energy has been unwavering.
“We are honoured to have played a small part in helping 鶹 continue their mission of providing world-class care and education to those who need it most.”
We would like to thank Sintons for their hard work, dedication and compassion over the last two years. Their efforts will directly benefit the lives of the wonderful children, young people and adults we support.
