We held our inaugural Golf Day at Ramside Hall Golf Club on Thursday 6th June. The weather was warm and sunny for our golf teams who assembled first for breakfast before hitting the golf course.

Businesses from across the country participated in a friendly game of golf, as well as different challenges and fundraising games. Challenges included a Left Handed Swing, which got some laughs, as well as a Beat the Pro challenge, and a Hole in One competition where a lucky individual could win a brand new car.

Although no-one won the car – we had quite a few close shots, but not close enough – several people beat the pro and a lucky winner was drawn out of those to win a bottle of champagne as well as an As You Like It Voucher.

Fundraising games included a raffle, a spin the wheel – which included both benefits and hindrances to the golfers games – mulligans and bunker penalties.

Following an excellent game of golf, players joined us back at the Clubhouse where they enjoyed a delicious BBQ and the raffle was drawn. Winners of the day were announced, including Hadrian Healthcare coming in third, Standby Healthcare coming in second, and a team headed by one of our staff, Marc, came in first!

All in all, we are proud to announce that we raised a total of 拢5330 from our Golf Day!
